PARTNERS

Partner with Model ICAO

Each year, some 225 students and faculty from around twenty universities and colleges spend a week negotiating the future of international civil aviation — inside ICAO Headquarters, in the organization’s own Council Chamber.

Who you reach

They are studying law, engineering, political science, management and aviation. Within three to five years, they will be working in your sector.

Model ICAO is the only United Nations model held on the premises of a UN organization. That is what makes partnering with it different from sponsoring a student conference.

The participants. In 2026, there will be 225 students and professors from universities and colleges in Canada and Europe and representing 42 nationalities. They are highly motivated, prepare for months in advance, and arrive already familiar with the case studies. They are passionate individuals who devote a week to this activity—the best in their programs.

The institutions. Faculty advisors accompany their delegations. They are the people who decide, each year, which programs their students commit to.

The sector. ICAO Member State representatives, the ICAO Secretariat, permanent missions, and the industry partners already present. Model ICAO week puts them all in the same building.

Naming a major event — The opening luncheon with the President of the ICAO Council, the closing ceremony, the awards. Your organization hosts the moment participants remember most.

Supporting the participant experience — The career fair, the training sessions, the networking workshop, the receptions. Direct, structured contact — the format that has produced the most concrete results.

Institutional support — Visibility in the delegate booklet, on the site, and in communications to delegations, with a presence during the week. The entry point most partners start from.

If you are an industry organization

You are looking at a talent pipeline. These students will enter aviation, and the ones here are the motivated end of the distribution. Partnership gives you access before your competitors meet them, in a setting where they see you as part of the sector rather than as a recruiter

If you are an institution or association

You are looking at positioning within the ecosystem. Model ICAO is held at ICAO, with ICAO’s cooperation, and it is where the next generation of aviation professionals forms its first picture of who does what. Being visible here is being visible at the point where professional reputations begin.

Tell us what your organization is looking for and we will send you the partnership dossier, along with the options that fit.

Recruitment, promotion and solicitation happen through the partnership framework and the career fair — never informally. That rule protects the experience for participants, and it protects the value of what partners have paid for.
