Ann-Frédérique Pothier

Ann Frédérique has been working for the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), an international organisation composed of 41 Member States, since 1998. Before joining EUROCONTROL, she worked in a law firm specialised in air transportation matters in Montreal, Canada.


As a member of the EUROCONTROL Legal Service for 13 years, her responsibilities focused on legal and institutional matters with regard to EUROCONTROL activities. She dealt with issues relating to, inter alia, provision of air traffic services, safety and just culture, route charges and regulatory aspects, in particular with respect to the implementation of the Single European Sky.


In January 2011, Ann Frédérique joined the Central Route Charges Office (CRCO) of EUROCONTROL as Head of Section, where she oversaw collection and enforce-ment related activities with respect to air navigation charges. She now holds the position of Head of Director’s Office and deals in particular with strategic, legal and policy issues related to the EUROCONTROL route charges system.

 

Ann Frédérique is a member of the Québec Bar since 1995. She is a member of the European Air Law Association (EALA) and the International Aviation Womens Asso-ciation (IAWA).
